I have been reading some blogs from grieving parents in hopes that I could find something to help my own mother. My 19 year old sister, Chelsea, was killed in a car accident on 3/3/12, and my mom has not taken it well.
I found your story especially moving. It struck me that you have been posting for so many years, which makes me feel so much better. It has only been a month and I feel like people around us are probably wondering when we will move on with our lives, but I find that difficult to do.
I am so sorry for your loss. I have a 7 year old daughter of my own and could not imagine what you, my mom, or other parents that have lost children must go through every day.
I wrote this blog to help remember the amazing person my sister was.
I'm the proud father of Christine and Lauren and husband to Carolyn...trying to find a way to connect with my cutie pie Christine in heaven & to enjoy baby Lauren even more.
